1964 Fender Jazz Bass – Sunburst
We present an all original 1964 Fender Jazz Bass in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Overall, this excellent example is a true Pre-CBS Jazz Bass — played-in, yet remarkably well preserved over the years. It shows belt buckle wear, nicks, dings, and other cosmetic play wear. It features a slim, tapered neck and a beautifully dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots.
The headstock and neck are clean, with only minor wear. The original tortoise plastic pickguard is flawless, with no breaks. This Fender bass is extremely resonant and an exceptional player, with a slightly more pronounced low/midrange tonal emphasis compared to many typical Jazz Basses from 1965 and beyond.
it’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1964.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with the original no-logo hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
