Description & Specifications

1964 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst

We present an all original and early 1964 Fender Jazzmaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

This pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is stunning throughout, with no breaks or repairs. Overall, the guitar shows only minor belt buckle rash and small nicks and dings on the back and sides. It features a comfortable C-neck profile that is a joy to play. The original grey-bottom pickups are well-balanced, strong, and sound absolutely incredible. The original frets are in excellent condition with plenty of life left. Dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. Even comes with its original polish cloth, instruction manual, and some old strings.

Soundwise, this Fender Jazzmaster is powerful, resonant, and extremely versatile—everything you’d expect from a guitar produced during Fender’s golden era. An exceptional example of a pre-CBS Jazzmaster with the “spaghetti logo.”

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1964.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes complete with its original Fender white tolex hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
