1964 Fender Princeton Amp 6G2 – Blackface
We present an original 1964 Fender Princeton Amp Blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Princeton amplifier is a transition model, also called the “Tuxedo,” featuring white knobs on a blackface panel and still using the brownface 6G2 circuit. It features dual 6V6 tubes delivering 12 watts to the Jensen C10N 10-inch speaker. The Fender Princeton has a pure, sweet tone and is a very versatile amp, despite not having on-board reverb.
Overall, the Fender Princeton is in great condition, with its original black Tolex, faceplate, and grille cloth. The amplifier is fully serviced with new capacitors, resistors, a 3-prong power cable, and a reconed Jensen speaker, so it runs perfectly.
The original tube chart is also present and very clean, with crisp corners.
To keep it as original as possible, you will need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
