1964 Fender Stratocaster – Candy Apple Red
We present an all original 1964 pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is a prime example of why these early pre-CBS Fenders are so coveted. A beautiful Custom Color guitar that is close to near mint. The Stratocaster is crazy clean with minor cometic wear on the side. A pristine and gorgeous maple neck. Medium c-shape profile with beautiful dark curved (veneer) rosewood fretboard with clay dots. It’s set up as a super fast and easy player. The green pickguard is perfect with no cracks or any breaks. The original frets and nut is like new with plenty of life left. The grey bottom pickups are very strong and balanced. They are warm and clear with a lively tone, woody and glassy at the same time, with a perfect balance between the set.
Comes complete with its original Fender non-logo hardshell case, whammy bar, ashtray, coil cable, strap and polish cloth.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
