1964 Fender Stratocaster – Candy Apple Red
We present an all original 1964 pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is a prime example of why these early pre-CBS Fenders are so coveted. A beautiful Custom Color guitar that is very close to near mint. Crazy clean Fender Stratocaster example with minor cometic wear on the side. A pristine and gorgeous maple neck. Medium c-shape profile with beautiful dark rosewood fretboard with clay dots. The headstock has some of the most beautiful grained maple that gives this guitar a very unique looking.
The green pickguard is perfect with no cracks or any breaks. The original frets and nut is like new with plenty of life left. The grey bottom pickups are very strong and balanced. They are warm and clear with a lively tone, woody and glassy at the same time with a perfect balance between the set.
Even comes complete with its original Fender non-logo hardshell case, tremolo bar, ashtray, coil cable, strap and polish cloth. It’s all there!
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
