1964 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an all original Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS Strat comes directly from the widow of the original owner. The guitar has been played and well-loved since 1964 — and it shows, both visually and sonically. It is 100% original throughout except for a professional refret that includes a handcrafted bone nut. It even includes the original tremolo arm, strap, cable, and bridge cover. The body and neck are highly resonant, and the beautifully dark rosewood fingerboard features clay dot inlays.
The guitar is well-balanced with a comfortable weight. The original grey-bottom pickups are well-matched, delivering outstanding tone and character. Over the years, the guitar has developed honest playwear, with noticeable paint wear on the back and sides. The tasteful chips and dings in the finish contribute to its authentic vintage aesthetic and overall vibe.
The pickups and electronics remain completely untouched — no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All components are original and correct.
Includes its original non-logo Fender hardshell case. All latches and the handle are fully functional.
