1964 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
If you would like to see internal photos of the guitar, please contact us through email or give us a call.
We present an all original Fender Stratocaster Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS is coming directly from the original owner’s Widow. The guitar has been played/well loved since 1964 and you can see it and definitely hear it. It’s all original except for a new refret that include a new handcrafted bone nut. Even comes with its original tremolo bar, strap, cable and bridge cover. Lots of resonance in the body and neck. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots.
The weight is very good with great balance and the grey bottom pickups are balanced with a great tone and soul. Over the years it’s gotten a sizable amount of playing spots on the back and sides where paint has been chipped. Very nice chips + dings in the finish, that has given the guitar a great vibe and good looks.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
It comes complete with its original/periode correct non-logo hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
