Description & Specifications

1964 Gibson Country Western – Natural

We present an original 1964 Gibson Country Western in its original Natural finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Condition

This 1964 Gibson Country Western is in pristine, clean condition with no breaks or repairs. A truly stunning flat-top acoustic guitar that not only looks incredible but also delivers exceptional tone. The guitar features a natural-finished spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides. The one-piece mahogany neck is smooth and highly playable, topped with a dark rosewood fingerboard and classic split parallelogram inlays.

The original finish remains intact and beautifully preserved, showcasing tasteful finish checking that adds vintage character. The original Kluson Deluxe single-line tuners function flawlessly, complete with their original white buttons. The frets are in excellent condition, showing minimal wear and plenty of life left.

Originality

This gorgeous vintage Gibson flat-top is all original, except for a professionally installed K&K pickup and a strap button. It retains the original thin tortoiseshell pickguard and the signature adjustable bridge with white ceramic inserts. The nut width measures a desirable 1 11/16″, offering comfortable playability. A perfect and exceptionally clean example — hard to find in this condition.

Comes complete with the original chipboard hardshell case. All latches and the handle are fully functional and in excellent working order.
