1964 Gibson ES-125 TDC – Cherry Sunburst
We present an all original 1964 Gibson ES-125 TDC in its original Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
A Gibson ES-125 TDC (“TDC” stands for thin body, double pickups, and cutaway). This Gibson is genius all around, with a bound top and back in cream binding. A great Gibson ES-125 with amazing original P-90s. Structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. Only minor wear, nicks, dings, and other cosmetic marks that give the guitar great vintage character and a beautiful look. The Cherry Sunburst finish on the top has naturally faded over the years, adding to its visual charm. The back and neck remain a vibrant red.
The original frets are in excellent condition with plenty of life left. This guitar produces warm, clean jazz and blues tones thanks to the iconic Gibson P-90s. This particular example offers excellent action — low and easy to play along the entire neck. A strap button has been added to the neck heel.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1964.
Pickups and electronics remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with an old hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
