1964 Gibson ES-125 TDC – Cherry Sunburst
We present an all original 1964 Gibson ES-125 TDC in its original Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
A Gibson ES-125 TDC (“TDC” means thin body, double pickups and cutaway) This Gibson is genius all the way around with bound top and back with cream binding. A great Gibson ES-125 with amazing original P-90s. Structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. Only minor wear and nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear, that give the guitar a great vibe and good looking. The Cherry Sunburst finish the top is faded over the years so it has a beautiful look. The back and neck are still vibrant Red.
The original frets are in perfect shape with a lot of life left. This guitar produces warm, jazzy/blues like clean tones with the famous Gibson P-90s. This particular example has excellent action, low and easy to play all the way down the neck. A strap button added on the neck heel.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
