1964 Gibson SG Custom – Polaris White
We present an all original 1964 Gibson SG Custom in its original Polaris White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this Gibson SG Custom is in excellent condition, with some nicks, dings, finish cracks, and other cosmetic playwear. It features a one-piece mahogany neck with a comfortable, wide neck profile. The gold-plated hardware, including the Maestro Vibrola and Lyre tailpiece, remains solid but shows natural aging over the years. The original frets are still in great shape, including the nut. It has a gorgeous ebony fretboard with block MOP inlays. Additional features include an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, six original Kluson “Waffleback” tuners, 2x Volume / 2x Tone controls, and a 3-way toggle switch. The “Pat. No. sticker” humbuckers are very similar to the legendary PAFs — well-balanced and fantastic-sounding.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1964.
Pickups and electronics remain completely untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original black Gibson hardshell case with yellow/orange interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
