1964 Martin D-18
We present an original 1964 C.F. Martin D-18. Crafted in Nazareth, PA.
The Martin D-18 has long been a reliable workhorse for country, gospel, folk, and various American vernacular music styles. This 1964 C.F. Martin D-18 acoustic guitar was built at the historic Nazareth factory just before it relocated later in 1964. The original Kluson Deluxe tuners are fully functional and in excellent condition. It features the classic dreadnought body shape with a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a dark rosewood fingerboard, bridge, and headstock overlay.
The original tortoise celluloid pickguard and binding complement the typically rounded-edge headstock. This model is noticeably lighter in construction compared to later ’60s examples. Overall, this flat-top guitar is in great condition for its age, showing typical play wear, nicks, dings, and other cosmetic signs of use. It sounds and plays absolutely fantastic.
Includes a newer hardshell case with latches and handle in perfect working order.
