1965 Fender Jaguar – black
We present an all original 1965 Fender Jaguar in Black finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
This rare Custom Color is in absolute near mint condition with pearloid dots on the dark rosewood fingerboard. It even comes complete with its original tremolo arm, bridge cover. This “killer” Jaguar has a fantastic story. The guitar was rented out and featured in the most popular Fender book; The Golden Age. Otherwise the guitar have been stored in its original hardshell case in 30 years.
There is so much resonance of this instrument when you strike your first chord, and that dynamic, soulful quality really translates into the amplified signal. The Jaguar offers tonal options to both thicken up the sound and alternately make it even more sinewy and thin.
The maple neck has a C-shaped profile which is very slender at the nut, gaining notable shoulder and roundness as you travel up the fretboard with good chunk. The frets is like new and there is a lot of life left.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender black tolex hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
