Description & Specifications

1965 Fender Jaguar – Sherwood Green

We present a all original 1965 Fender Jaguar in its original rare Sherwood Green finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

This exceptional Jaguar has an incredible history. It was rented out and prominently featured in the acclaimed Fender book The Golden Age. Aside from that, it has been carefully stored in its original hard shell case for over 30 years. This extremely rare custom color model is in excellent condition, showcasing beautiful lacquer checking along with authentic nicks, dings, and other natural cosmetic wear consistent with its age. The original frets remain like new, offering plenty of playing life ahead.

The guitar boasts a comfortable C-shaped maple neck with pearloid dot inlays on a rich rosewood fingerboard.

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1965. It even includes its original tremolo arm and bridge cover.

All pickups and electronics — including wiring — are completely untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints or rewound pickups. Everything is original and correct.

This vintage Fender Jaguar comes with its original Fender hard shell case, with latches and handle in perfect working order.
