1965 Fender Jazzmaster – Lake Placid Blue
We present an all original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in Lake Placid Blue finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Overall, this 1965 guitar piece is in very clean condition with minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. The original Lake Placid Blue finish is nearly unfaded, which is very rare to come across. Comes complete with the original tremolo arm and bridge cover and hang tag.
This custom color Jazzmaster features a one-piece maple neck with a medium c neck profile. Dark rosewood fretboard with 21 original medium frets with pearl dot position markers . Single “butterfly” string tree with nylon spacer. Individual Double-line Kluson Deluxe tuners with oval metal buttons.
Three-ply white over black celluloid pickguard. Two controls (master volume, master tone) plus three-way pickup selector switch and jack socket on the treble side of the pickguard, two roller knobs (volume, tone) plus two-way circuit selector (rhythm/lead) slide switch on the bass side of the pickguard. The original grey bottom pickups are strong and well balanced. The original frets are in great shape with a lot of life left.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Even comes complete with its original Fender Non-Logo hardshell case with orange interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
