1965 Fender Jazzmaster – Lake Placid Blue
We present an all original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Lake Placid Blue finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
This vintage 1965 Jazzmaster is in exceptionally clean condition, showing only minor nicks, dings, and light cosmetic wear. The original Lake Placid Blue finish remains vibrant and virtually unfaded — a rare find.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1965. Included are the original tremolo arm, bridge cover, and factory hang tag.
This custom color Jazzmaster features a one-piece maple neck with a medium “C” neck profile. It sports a dark rosewood fretboard with 21 original medium frets and pearl dot position markers. The headstock includes a single “butterfly” string tree with nylon spacer and individual double-line Kluson Deluxe tuners with oval metal buttons.
The guitar is equipped with a three-ply white-over-black celluloid pickguard. Controls include a master volume and tone knob, a three-way pickup selector switch, and jack socket on the treble side. On the bass side, it features two roller knobs (volume and tone) and a two-way rhythm/lead circuit selector slide switch. The original gray-bottom pickups are strong, articulate, and well-balanced. Original frets remain in excellent condition with plenty of life left.
All electronics and wiring are 100% original and untouched—no re-wound pickups, no broken solder joints. Everything is factory-spec and correct.
Comes complete with its original Fender non-logo hardshell case featuring an orange interior. All latches and the handle function perfectly.
