1965 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
This L-series Fender Jazzmaster is in pristine and near-mint condition. It only shows very minor cosmetic wear. It features an incredible Birdseye maple neck that is a joy to play and clean as it can be with dark rosewood fingerboard. The original sunburst finish is incredibly strong and has barely faded at all. The type of Sunburst is close to what you normally see on a ’64 Jazzmaster.
Originality
This early 1965 Fender Jazzmaster is all original except for a pro refret. It comes complete with its original tremolo arm. The original double-line Kluson tuners are in perfect working order. The two original grey-bottom pickups are very strong and well-balanced. Features pearl dots. Since this is an early 1965 Jazzmaster it still features the Pre-CBS white knobs just before Fender transitions to the “Witch Hat” knobs. There is literally no difference between a late ’64 and this early ’65 Jazzmaster. Comes with a 60’s Fender Jazzmaster Manual
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes complete with its original Non-Logo Fender Hardshell Case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
