1965 Fender Stratocaster – Lake Placid Blue
We present an all original and 100% complete 1965 Fender Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This early 1965 Fender Stratocaster comes with pre-CBS 64 appointments, such as mint green pickguard. Overall, this 1965 Stratocaster is in excellent + condition, with extremely minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic play wear.
The original Lake Placid Blue is in incredibly strong blue with some beautiful finish checking all over the body. This beauty will complement any high-end collection, but it definitely deserves to be played. The original frets and nut have a lot of life left. Very comfortable C-shape neck with beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots.
The original double-line-Kluson tuners are intact and works perfectly. The grey bottom pickups are very balanced and sound incredibly good and the strings are nice and low. The headstock with transition logo are perfect. Just a 100% pristine example from Fenders golden age.
Comes with its original black tolex hardshell case, bridge cover and tremolo arm.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
