1965 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst

We present an all original 1965 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

History

This incredible 1965 Stratocaster is coming directly from the original owner from the state Illinois.

Condition

Overall, this 1965 Stratocaster is in great and clean condition. It has minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic play-wear that really gives this guitar an amazing vibe and good looks. No breaks or any repairs – just a straight up fantastic vintage Fender from a great periode. A comfortable C-shape maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dots. The original 3-Tone Sunburst finish is a typical mid 60’s and is still strong. Double-Line Kluson are in great shape and works perfectly. 

Originality

This 1965 Fender Stratocaster is 100% all original throughout. Exactly like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1965. No mod or any repairs!  It even comes with the original tremolo-arm. The original Fender plastic backplate is missing which is not uncommon, since many took it off for easier acces to the tremolo block for re-string the guitar. It has been played since 1965 and you can see it and definitely hear the resonance in the body and neck. The original 3x grey bottom pickups is extremely balanced and have such a great tone. Just a stunning 1965 L-series Stratocaster.

Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.

Comes with its original Non-logo Fender Hardshell Case with Orange interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
