We present a all original 1965 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
History
This incredible 1965 Stratocaster comes directly from the original owner in the state of Illinois.
Condition
Overall, this 1965 Stratocaster is in excellent and clean condition. It shows minor nicks, dings, and natural cosmetic play wear that add character and vintage appeal. No breaks or repairs — just a straight-up, fantastic vintage Fender from a golden era. It features a comfortable C-shaped maple neck with a dark rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlays. The original 3-Tone Sunburst finish is a classic mid-’60s style and remains vibrant. The original Double-Line Kluson tuners are in great condition and function perfectly.
Originality
This 1965 Fender Stratocaster is 100% original throughout — exactly as it left the Fullerton factory in 1965. No modifications or repairs! It even includes the original tremolo arm. The original Fender plastic backplate is missing, which is common, as many players removed it for easier access to the tremolo block when re-stringing. This guitar has been played since 1965, and both the body and neck resonate beautifully. The original trio of grey bottom pickups are exceptionally balanced and deliver outstanding tone. A truly stunning 1965 L-series Stratocaster.
The pickups and all electronics remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. Everything is original and 100% correct.
Comes with its original no-logo Fender hardshell case with orange interior. All latches and the handle are in perfect working order.
