We present an all original 1965 Gibson SG Special with Tremolo in Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This solid mahogany body features one-piece mahogany neck and dark rosewood fretboard with pearl dot position markers. Overall, this special is in excellent condition with few nicks, dings, cosmetic wear and finish checking. The original frets has been dressed but there are still plenty of life left in them.
Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with original white plastic oval buttons. Black plastic bell-shaped knobs with white markings and tailpiece with factory Tremolo unit. This Gibson still has the sought after 1-11/16 width at the nut. A nice comfortable C- shape neck that is a joy to play. The original P-90’s pickups sounds great and are well balanced.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
