1966 Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp AB763 – Blackface
We present an original 1966 Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp AB763 – Blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
The stunning AB763 Deluxe Reverb is a studio stable and this one is in fantastic shape. The black tolex has some dings and other cosmetic wear, but is overall pretty clean. The black front control panel is really clean with all the lettering completely intact. All the original knobs turns smoothly and are all intact as well. The grill cloth has some slight wear, but overall in pretty clean shape.
Originality
This ’66 Deluxe Reverb Amp features the original AB763 circuit. It has just been serviced with some new capacitors and risistors along with a newer prong cord, so it can run absolutely perfect. The original Oxford 12″ speaker has been reconed. New springs in the reverb unit has also been added so it plays perfectly.
A fantastic opportunity to own one of the most iconic Blackface Fender amplifiers.
To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer if you’re based in Europe. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
