Description & Specifications

1966 Fender Jaguar – Lake Placid Blue

We present an all original 1966 Fender Jaguar in its original Lake Placid Blue finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

This Custom Color Fender Jaguar is in exceptionally clean condition — we’ve graded it as near mint. Just one or two minor dings on the back. It features dot inlays on a dark veneer rosewood fretboard with binding, and double-line Kluson tuners. It even comes complete with its original tremolo arm, bridge cover, polish cloth, cable, and case keys.

The original frets and nut still have plenty of life left. The iconic Lake Placid Blue finish remains rich and vibrant, with no fading to green — evidence that this guitar has been carefully preserved in its case for decades. The original hardshell case is also in near-new condition — what we’d call a NOS case — perfectly matching the pristine condition of the instrument.

Tonally, this Jaguar is incredibly resonant. From the first strum, it delivers a dynamic, soulful response that translates beautifully when amplified. The pickups are well-balanced and articulate.

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1966.

All pickups and electronics remain completely original and untouched — no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. Everything is original, correct, and unmodified. No breaks, no cracks, no repairs.

Includes the original hardshell case — with fully functional latches and handle — in like-new condition!
