1966 Fender Jaguar – Olympic White
We present an all original and early 1966 Fender Jaguar in Olympic White finish. Made in Fullerton California.
This guitar is very special it is a Olympic White over Candy Apple Red with gold undercoat. Totally factory stock. The maple neck has a C-shaped profile which is gaining notable shoulder and roundness as you travel up the fretboard with good chunk. Overall, this Jaguar has beautiful nitro lacquer checking and nicks and dings, and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs.
The only thing that has been replaced on this beauty, is a new foam (aka rubber) on the flip up mute. This is very common and don’t effect the value and the originality. They shrink and become useless, so it needs to be changed if you wanna use it. This Fender Custom Color is an absolute stunning to play with great frets and has all features of this model, including grey bottom pickups, a tortoise Pickguard and pearl dots with bindings on the veneer rosewood fingerboard. It even comes complete with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
