1966 Fender Jaguar – Sonic Blue
We present an all original 1966 Fender Jaguar in its original Sonic Blue finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
This rare 1966 Custom Color Fender Jaguar is in great condition. Nicks, dings and other cosmetic play wear. Beautiful finish checking all over the body and neck. There’s a few spots where the finish is worn off down to the bare wood. The original finish is still Blue but has turned green-ish over the years, which looks absolutely stunning. It features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl-dot inlays and a straight maple neck. The 6x original F tuners are perfect and turns smoothly. The original frets and nut have still plenty of life left. New Foam added to the flip-up mute so it can be used. Soundwise, there is so much resonance in this instrument when you strike your first chord and that dynamic, soulful quality really translates into the amplified signal.
Originality
This fantastic and rare CBS Fender Jaguar is 100% all original with no modifications, breaks or any repairs. It even comes complete with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover. The original 2x single-coil pickups are well-balanced and completely untouched including all the solder joints.
Pickups and electronics wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct. No breaks or any repairs!
Comes with its original Fender Bulwin hardshell case. The handle is replaced.
