Description & Specifications

1966 Fender Jazzmaster – Olympic White

We present an all original early 1966 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Olympic White finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

This is a stunning Custom Color Fender Jazzmaster with a matching headstock — an increasingly rare find. The guitar is 100% original throughout except for one of the two screws holding the rhythm switch on the pickguard. It has been substituted with an original-era screw from our vintage stock. No breaks, no repairs —completely intact. Comes complete including the original tremolo arm and period-correct bridge cover.

Condition
Cosmetically, the guitar shows a few nicks and dings on the front and sides, along with light playwear and minor scratches on the back. There is visible finish checking throughout the body and headstock, adding to its vintage character. The grey bottom pickups are strong and well-balanced. It features a dark rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and binding. The bound neck has a comfortable C-shaped profile that’s a pleasure to play. Overall, the guitar is resonant, powerful, and exceptionally versatile. The original frets are small with medium height and show light wear.

Electronics
All pickups, wiring, and electronics are untouched and original — no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. Completely stock and correct.

The original Fender hardshell case with all latches and the handle in perfect working condition.
