1966 Fender Precision Bass – Sunburst
We present an all original 1966 Fender Precision Bass in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
The playability of this Fender Precision Bass is excellent. A great lightweight example, it’s extremely resonant. As you can see, it has a lot of honest mojo wear from years of playing. The original frets are in very good condition and have plenty of life left. A beautiful dark veneer rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dots. Overall, it’s in great original shape, with nicks, dings, and finish checking. This Precision lives up to its “holy grail” status, with solid intonation and the feel you want in a bass. The neck is slick and fast — it feels like a pre-CBS in your hands. Outstanding tone and a huge, dark-sounding response.
it’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1966.
Pickup and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
