1966 Fender Reverb Unit 6G15 – Blackface
We present an original 1966 Fender Reverb Unit – Blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.
The 6G15 all-tube circuit delivers lush and detailed spring reverb. With controls for Dwell, Mix, and Tone, it’s easy to dial in the perfect amount of splash and sparkle. This classic Fender reverb effect simply goes in-line between your guitar and amp.
The preamp has had some capacitors and filter caps replaced, allowing it to run perfectly. The unit is equipped with its original transformers. The original Accutronics two-spring reverb tank is also present, along with stock braided reverb cables.
The original Fender black tolex is paired with the original grill cloth. Both the tolex and grill are clean for its age. The faceplate is particularly clean, featuring original white barrel knobs. The original raised Fender logo is present as well, along with the stock Sphinx glides (feet) and flat handle.
To keep it as original as possible, a step-down transformer is required. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
