1966 Fender Stratocaster – Candy Apple Red
We present an exceptional and all original (early) 1966 Fender Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This beauty has all the 65 specs! But since the original grey bottom pickups is dated January 1966, this piece left the Fullerton factory in early 1966. So this is an early 1966 Stratocaster. It even comes complete with its original bridge cover, tremolo arm and Fender polish cloth.
An absolutely stunning instrument with real woody/vintage Fender tone. This Custom Color Stratocaster will complement any high-end collectors and players. Only a FEW little chips and dings, but no breaks or any repairs on the guitar. The plastic backplate has a s little crack on the corner. The original frets are great and have been dressed so it plays perfect. A comfortable medium profile neck with a gorgeous rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots. The Grey Bobbin pickups are very balanced and sounds incredibly good. Overall a stunning guitar that plays great and ring out clearly.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
