1966 Gibson Country Western – Natural
We present an original 1966 Gibson Country Western. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This Deluxe flat-top model features natural spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Adjustable bridge, large tortoise pickguard, dark rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays and Kluson tuners.
Overall, this is a great example of a square shoulder Gibson dreadnought in very good condition with some modest play wear and gorgeous finish checking all over the body. The guitar has been well loved and played. It has a big sound without being too boomy or overwhelming. This one has the narrower 1 and 9/16 inch nut with a medium C-profile. It’s not a baseball bat.
Comes with a newer hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
- Width at nut: 1-9/16″.
Repairs done by a professional Luthier.
- Reglued bridge
- Frets have been dressed
- Tuners replaced to modern tulip repro tuners
