Description & Specifications

1966 Gibson Country Western – Natural

We present an original 1966 Gibson Country Western in its original Natural finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This deluxe flat-top model features a natural spruce top with mahogany back and sides. It includes an adjustable bridge, large tortoise pickguard, dark rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays, and Kluson tuners.

Overall, this is a fantastic example of a square-shoulder Gibson dreadnought, in very good condition, showing light play wear and beautiful finish checking throughout the body. The guitar has been well loved and played. It delivers a rich, resonant tone — big, but never boomy or overpowering. This model features the narrower 1 9/16″ nut width and a comfortable medium C-shaped neck profile — not a baseball bat.

Comes with a newer hardshell case. All latches and the handle are fully functional.
