1966 Gibson Trini Lopez standard – Pelham Blue
We present a 100% original 1966 Gibson Trini Lopez Standard – Pelham Blue. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this is an incredible Gibson in excellent condition with minor nicks, dings and general play-wear. This is a very rare Trini Lopes to come across in a Gibson Custom Color Pelham Blue finish. There were very few made in Pelham Blue, since Cherry finish was the standard color.
The Pelham Blue finish is still very bright in the color with some fading to greenish and has some finish checking. The neck is well adjusted and comfortable to play. It features the two original Gibson “Pat.Nr. Sticker” humbuckers that sound fantastic and are undisturbed.
It features a Laminated maple body, a 1-piece mahogany neck with beautiful dark bound rosewood fingerboard with perloid inlays. Original Trapeze tailpiece with Gibson adjustable Tune-O-Matic bridge and 6x Kluson “doubleline” tuners that are in perfect working order.
Comes with a non original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
