Description & Specifications

1966 Martin 000-18 – Natural

We present an original and early 1966 C.F. Martin 000-18 in its original Natural finish. Crafted in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

This exceptional C.F. Martin 000-18 delivers outstanding tone and remains in remarkably clean, original condition. It looks as though it just left the factory —showing only minimal signs of wear. The frets and original nut appear virtually unused, with plenty of life left. Notably, it features the original old-style tortoise celluloid pickguard — one of the last models to include this detail. Additional features include a short-saddle rosewood bridge, Grover Sta-Tite tuners with hexagonal bushings, and the characteristically rounded 1960s rosewood peghead, which looks beautiful.

The original natural lacquer finish is in stunning condition. This Martin 000-18 is built with mahogany back, sides, and neck, a Sitka spruce top, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.

Overall, this is a breathtaking, crack-free vintage flat-top with exceptional playability and a powerful, resonant voice.

Includes a non-original hardshell case with all latches and the handle in perfect working order.
