Description & Specifications

1967 Gibson ES-125 TDC – Tobacco Sunburst

We present an all original 1967 Gibson ES-125 TDC in its original Tobacco Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Here we have an absolutely gorgeous 1967 Gibson ES-125 TDC (“TDC” stands for thin body, double pickups, and cutaway). This Gibson is brilliant all the way around, with a bound top and back with cream binding. A great player, featuring amazing original P-90 pickups. Structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. It shows a beautiful crackled finish along with some wear, nicks, dings, and other cosmetic marks that give the guitar a great vintage vibe and classic look.

The original frets are in excellent condition with plenty of life left. This guitar delivers warm, clean tones ideal for jazz and blues, thanks to the iconic Gibson P-90s. This particular example offers excellent action — low and easy to play all the way down the neck. A strap button has also been added to the neck heel (otherwise you can’t stand up and play).

It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1967.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with a newer hardshell case.
