1967 Gibson ES-125 TDC – Tobacco Sunburst
We present an all original 1967 Gibson ES-125 TDC in its original Tobacco Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Here we have an absolutely gorgeous 1967 Gibson ES-125 TDC (“TDC” means thin body, double pickups and cutaway). This Gibson is genius all the way around with bound top and back with cream binding. A great player with amazing original P-90s. Structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. Only beautiful crackle finish with some wear and nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear, that give the guitar a great vibe and good looking.
The original frets are in perfect shape with a lot of life left. This guitar produces warm, jazzy/blues like clean tones with the famous Gibson P-90s. This particular example has excellent action, low and easy to play all the way down the neck. A strap button had also been added on the neck heel ( otherweise you can’t stand up and play )
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with a newer hardshell case.
- width at nut: 1 9/16″.
- Neck pickup:8.56 kOhm.
- Bridge pickup: 8.38 kOhm.
- weight: 2.5 kilograms.
