1968 Gibson ES-345 TDSV Stereo – Sunburst
We present an all original 1968 Gibson ES-345 TDSV Stereo in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This stunning hollow body guitar with Varitone circuit and stereo output comes complete with its original hang tag/paperwork, case key, stereo cable, and a rare original Gibson adjustment screwdriver. Overall, this ES-345 is in exceptionally clean condition. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The original patent number sticker pickups are strong and well-balanced.
The one-piece mahogany neck has a C-shaped profile that gains a bit of depth as you move into the higher registers of the fretboard and features a 1 9/16″ nut width. Beautiful dark rosewood fretboard with double parallelogram inlays. The original gold Kluson Deluxe tuners are intact and turn smoothly. The serial number is clearly visible on the back of the headstock, and the “Gibson” logo appears in pearl inlay on the headstock face. All the original gold hardware, including the trapeze tailpiece, is in excellent shape.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1968.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case. Latches and handle are in working order.
