The original cherry finish looks stunning and hasn’t faded so much. The chrome hardware are clean and shiny as it can be. The “Batman” pickguard is perfect with no breaks or any repairs. Originality
This early 1969 Gibson SG Standard is 100% all original just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1969. One important thing to notice about this SG is that it’s an early ’69 example with ’68 features such as a 1-piece lightweight mahogany body with a 1-piece mahogany neck and 68 pots as well. Comes with a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with trapeze inlays. The 2x original “PAT-Number Sticker Humbuckers sound fantastic and are well balanced.
