1970 Gibson ES-330 TD – Walnut
We present an original 1970 Gibson ES-330 TD in Walnut. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This beautiful 1970 Gibson ES-330 TD Walnut is a stunning piece in overall excellent condition. Coming directly from the original owner that purchased it back in the 70’s. It’s all original except for newer frets. No breaks or repairs and it even comes complete with the original hang tags.
This 1970 Gibson ES-330 TD has minor nicks and dings on the body and the walnut finish has beautiful natural finish checking. It features a 3-piece mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fretboard, which has beautiful block inlays.
The maple body is so acoustically resonant, the fullness of the unplugged tone translates very well through the pickups, which deliver a very dynamic and nuanced tone, with the heft and midrange fullness that only comes with the combination of a fully hollow body and a good P-90 pickup’s.
The original and charismatic “Dog Ear” P-90 Pickups sound awesome and are well balanced. Totally undisturbed and factory stock. Deluxe double-line tuners are intact and these tuners turn smoothly with their original white buttons. The “Gibson” logo is inlaid in pearl on the headstock face. The bridge is the original chrome Gibson patent number Tune-o-Matic, as well as the stock pickguard, switch tip, pickup covers, and Black Hat Knobs.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case.
