1970 Gibson ES-330 TD – Walnut
We present an original 1970 Gibson ES-330 TD in Walnut. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This beautiful 1970 Gibson ES-330 TD in Walnut is a stunning piece in overall excellent condition. It comes directly from the original owner, who purchased it back in the ’70s.
It’s all original except for newer frets – otherwise it’s exactly like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1970. No breaks or repairs — and it even comes complete with the original hang tags.
This vintage 1970 Gibson ES-330 TD features minor nicks and dings on the body, and the walnut finish displays beautiful natural checking. It has a 3-piece mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fretboard, adorned with attractive block inlays.
The maple body is incredibly acoustically resonant, and the fullness of its unplugged tone translates beautifully through the pickups. They deliver a dynamic and nuanced sound, with the heft and midrange richness that only a fully hollow body paired with quality P-90 pickups can provide.
The original and charismatic “Dog Ear” P-90 pickups sound fantastic and are well-balanced. Completely undisturbed and factory stock. Deluxe double-line tuners are intact and turn smoothly with their original white buttons. The “Gibson” logo is inlaid in pearl on the face of the headstock. The bridge is the original chrome Gibson patent number Tune-o-Matic, along with the stock pickguard, switch tip, pickup covers, and black hat knobs.
Pickups and electronics remain untouched and intact—no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case.
