1972 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an all original and early 1972 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Stratocaster was purchased in Denmark during the 1970s and has been exceptionally well-preserved — it’s in mint condition and looks virtually brand new. The guitar is 100% complete, including original tags, bridge cover, tremolo arm, cable, and polish cloth. It is one of the best-sounding ’70s Stratocasters we’ve had in stock in a long time.
Features a gorgeous alder body paired with a 1-piece maple neck and tilt-neck adjustment. The beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays adds to its classic appeal. The original frets show minimal wear and the guitar plays and resonates beautifully. The grey-bottom pickups sound fantastic — rich, dynamic, and well-balanced. This is a rare collector-grade example and a solid future investment — but it truly deserves to be played.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1972.
Pickups and all electronics/wiring are completely untouched and original. No broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups—100% correct and authentic.
Includes its original Export Hardshell Case with Fender logo. Latches and handle are in perfect working condition.
