Description & Specifications

1972 Gibson EB-0 – Cherry

We present an all original 1972 Gibson EB-0 in its original Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The neck angle on this bass is excellent, and playability is super smooth. This is a particularly nice example with low action and no buzzing. This short-scale Gibson also has a great pickup that is remarkably warm, fat, and has a strong output. A punchy tone that stands out in any mix and truly sounds like no other bass.

Master volume and tone controls with black “top hat” knobs. This bass has a wonderful look with a great vintage vibe. Frets are in great shape with no wear, and the rounded mahogany neck features side dots. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs.

It’s 100% original throughout – Just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1972.

Pickup and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.

Comes with the original chipboard case.
