1972 Gibson ES-335 TD – Walnut
We present an all original 1972 Gibson ES-335 TD in its original Walnut finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This iconic 1972 Gibson ES-335 features a beautiful figured maple top and back. It comes equipped with two original “Patent Sticker” humbucker pickups that deliver the classic Gibson semi-hollowbody tone these guitars are known for. This Gibson ES-335 TD features a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and block inlays.
The original Walnut finish is vibrant and visually striking. Another very nice detail on this guitar is that the original wiring includes the black Sprague capacitors. All the chrome hardware is very clean, including the “Gibson” stamp on the pickup covers. The original frets and nut are in excellent condition with plenty of life left. Overall, this vintage guitar is in superb condition with extremely minor cosmetic wear. The chrome hardware and the trapeze tailpiece are also in excellent shape. Even comes complete with its original hang tag.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1972.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case with purple interior. Newer handle.
