Description & Specifications

1973 Gibson ES-335 TDC – Cherry

We present an all original 1973 Gibson ES-335 TDC in Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This iconic vintage Gibson ES-335 TDC in Cherry is exceptionally clean and features a beautifully figured maple top. It includes double-ring Kluson tuners, “witch hat” knobs, and two original “T-Top patent number” pickups that deliver the classic Gibson semi-hollowbody tone these guitars are renowned for.

The 3-piece mahogany neck feels great, and the frets are in excellent condition. The setup on this instrument offers low action, so it plays and sounds like a dream. As shown in the photos, this guitar appears to have seen very little use, with only light finish checking and a few minor dings. The hardware and trapeze tailpiece are also in excellent condition.

It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1973.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and original, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All components are original and correct.

Comes with its original Gibson/Lifton hardshell case with yellow lining. Replaced handle.
