1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom – Ebony
We present an all original and early 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom in its original Ebony finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar is in overall fantastic condition – absolutely excellent+ shape. It shows some minor nicks and dings, as expected from a 50+ year-old guitar. The gold hardware has aged naturally over the years, giving this vintage Les Paul a great, classic look. The original frets are in excellent condition with plenty of life left. This guitar is ready for its new owner.
The two “Patent Sticker” humbucker pickups sound amazing and are very well balanced. It features a fantastic C-shaped mahogany neck with a bound ebony fingerboard and block inlays. The bound headstock looks stunning with its pearl inlay and pearl Gibson logo. Original “waffle-back” deluxe tuners turn smoothly and function perfectly. The guitar also features the original four black control hat knobs, three-way pickup selector, and white switch tip. Overall, this is a stunning and great-sounding vintage Les Paul with all the classic features you’re looking for.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1973.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Gibson hardshell case with black exterior and purple interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
