1974 Gibson ES-335 TD – Black
We present an all original 1974 Gibson ES-335 TD in Black finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this Gibson ES-335 Custom Color is in pristine condition, with very few nicks, dings, or other cosmetic playwear. The hardware and trapeze tailpiece are also in excellent shape.
This Gibson model is extremely rare in Black finish. If you’re looking for a pristine example of an early ’70s Gibson ES-335 in Black, this is one of the best available.
This Gibson semi-hollow body guitar features double-ring Kluson tuners, “witch hat” knobs, and two original “Tarback” pickups that deliver the classic Gibson semi-hollow tone these guitars are known for. The 3-piece mahogany neck is smooth, and the frets are in excellent condition. The setup offers low action, so it plays like a dream and sounds even better.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1974.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case with pink lining. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
