Description & Specifications
1975 Fender Starcaster – Sunburst
We present an all original 1975 Fender Starcaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
History
This is the first year of production for the Fender Starcaster model.
Condition
Overall, this stunning 1975 Starcaster is in excellent and clean condition with minor cosmetic wear. The original Sunburst finish is stunning and haven’t faded much over the years. It features a semi-hollow construction with a maple top, back and sides. The maple neck is clean and straight with black dot inlays and a 3-bolt neck plate. The 6x original tuners are in good condition and turns smoothly. The original frets have a lot of life left in them. A tiny small piece of the nut has chipped off behind the high e-string, but the nut is still fully functional which is why we decided not to change the nut.
Originality
This first-year Starcaster from 1975 is 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in ’75. The 2x original wide-range Humbucking pickups are well-balanced and sounds powerful. The 5x knobs, pickguard and toggle-switch are all original to the guitar.
Pickup and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
It comes with the original hardshell case. Handle and latches are in perfect working order.
