1976 Fender Princeton Reverb AB1270 – Silverface
We present an original 1976 Fender Princeton Reverb AB1270 – Silverface. Made in Fullerton, California.
History
This Silverface-era Fender Princeton reverb is coming directly from the original owner. Since Fender didn’t stamp a date code on the tube chart in this period, can we instead look at the serial number A616040 which indicates that the amplifier was built and assembled in 1976.
Condition
Overall this beautiful Princeton Reverb is in excellent condition with minor wear on the black tolex. The silver face plate is really clean, including all the stencils which are fully visible and intact. The 6x black ‘witch hat’ knobs are in good condition with no breaks. The grill cloth is all intact with no holes or any notable wear – features the original plastic Fender logo.
Originality
This ’76 Princeton Reverb is all original with the original AB1270 circuit that is completely untouched. It features the original 10″ Fender speaker that is completely intact and original. The original tube chart is present and intact. Comes with a newer 3-prong cord.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter: Toroidy Step-Down Transformer 230V/110V – 200VA
