1977 Fender Telecaster Custom – Black
We present an all original 1977 Fender Telecaster Custom in its original Black finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is a truly exceptional vintage Fender guitar in remarkably clean condition, complete with its original matching hang tags, Fender warranty card, ashtray, tools, polish cloth, and strap. It’s incredibly rare to find a 1977 Telecaster Custom this clean and complete with all original case candy. The guitar shows only minimal signs of wear, with just a few small nicks, dings, and light cosmetic marks. The maple neck is straight, the action is low, and it plays beautifully.
This ’77 Telecaster Custom delivers the tone and feel you’d expect — a well-balanced, great-sounding instrument and a joy to play. The neck features a 7.25″ radius maple fingerboard with its original 22 frets, all of which have plenty of life left, along with the original nut. The guitar features the classic Telecaster single-coil pickup in the bridge position, paired with a Fender Wide Range Humbucker in the neck. Both pickups are strong, articulate, and well-balanced.
The original 6-saddle string-through-body bridge adds excellent sustain, complemented by the original Fender “F” stamped tuners.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1977.
Pickups and electronics are 100% original and untouched—no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups, and no modifications. A collector-grade example of a true classic.
Includes its original Fender hardshell case, with fully functional latches and handle, all in excellent condition.
