1977 Gibson ES-335 TD – Tobacco Sunburst
We present an all original 1977 Gibson ES-335 TD in its original Tobacco Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This iconic vintage Gibson ES-335 is exceptionally clean, featuring a beautifully figured top and two original humbucker pickups that deliver the classic Gibson semi-hollow tone these guitars are renowned for. If you’re looking for a pristine example of a ’70s ES-335, this could be the one. This late-1970s semi-hollow body ES-335 TD includes a coil-tap, allowing the humbuckers to produce a “single-coil” sound.
The 3-piece maple neck feels great, and the original frets and nut are in excellent condition. The setup on this guitar features low action, making it play and sound like a dream. It appears to have seen very little use, with only minimal cosmetic wear. The hardware and trapeze tailpiece are also in excellent condition.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1977.
Pickups and electronics remain untouched and fully intact—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
