1978 Gibson ES-355 TDSV – Wine Red
We present an all original 1978 Gibson ES-355 TDSV in Wine Red finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The ES-355 TDSV was Gibsons top-of-the-line model of their 3- series, loaded with gold hardware, Stereo, Varitone, and a Lyre/Maestro vibrato. Overall, this Gibson hollow body guitar is in very good condition for its age. It has nicks, dings and other cosmetic play wear. The original gold-plating of the hardware have some faded spot.
The original frets are still in great condition and have plenty of life left. It feature laminated, multibound double cutaway maple-body, 3-piece mahagony neck, bound ebony fretboard with MOP – block inlays, Large, multi-bound Custom headstock and split-diamond inlay, Multi-bound brown tortoise pickguard,Gibson Maestro Tremolo-tailpiece.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
It comes complete with its original black Gibson hardshell case with red lining. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
