1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom – White
We present an all original 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom in its original White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Condition
This ’79 Les Paul Custom shows extreme play-wear throughout, a true testament to a guitar that has been loved and used extensively. The back of the neck displays heavy wear, making it incredibly comfortable in the hand. Up at the 12th fret, where the neck meets the body, the finish has been completely worn through to the bare wood – a stunning detail that gives this guitar an incredibly cool MOJO. It also features a beautiful ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl inlays, adding elegance to the overall vibe. Despite all the honest wear, there are no breaks and no repairs. The frets remain playable, and the guitar delivers everything you’d expect from a well-loved late ’70s Les Paul Custom.
Originality
This 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom is 100% original throughout. Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1979. It features the original speed knobs and the original gold hardware, which remains fully intact though naturally tarnished over the years. All parts, hardware, and electronics are correct to the period and completely untouched. The original Stamped Patent No. pickups deliver that classic late-’70s Les Paul tone – full, biting, and rich. The tuners hold tuning well.
The electronics and wiring are untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. Everything is all original and correct.
Comes complete with the original chainsaw case. The latch and handle are fully intact and functional.
