1954 Fender Super Amp Tweed 5C4 – Wide Panel
We present an original 1954 Fender Super Amp Tweed 5C4 – Wide Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
The Super Tweed sounds absolutely amazing with its original 2×10 Jensen P10R speakers. Both speakers have been re-coned and are coded 220339, dating to the 39th week of 1953.
To keep it as original as possible, a step-down transformer has been added (allowing it to run on 230 volts). Otherwise, it is largely original — aside from the power switch, one foot glide, handle, and new caps and resistors — ensuring perfect operation. The chassis itself boasts an extremely clean chrome faceplate with all of the original white silkscreen lettering.
Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed has ambered considerably, with some minor scuffs and wear around the lower right corner on the face. Overall, the tweed looks particularly great and uniformly aged.
The original tube chart is also present and very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
The amp is fully serviced and ready to be played.
