1957 Fender Champ Amp Tweed 5E1 – Narrow Panel
We present an original and rare 1957 Fender Champ tweed 5E1 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This beauty amplifier is simple, elegant and clean enough to satisfy collectors and serious players. The 1957 Fender Champ boasts its original lacquered tweed with the 5E1 circuit. It doesn’t get much more pure than the Champ, and this studio favorite delivers freakishly dynamic and glassy pure tube tone that can go from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a twist of the single knob.
It has been well cared for over the decades and is stocked with the original Oxford 6″ speaker and the circuit has just been serviced with new capacitors, resistors and 3-prong cord so it can run perfectly. Both transformers are original as well.
Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in fantastic shape. Overall, the tweed looks particularly great with original nailed in feet and even the original leather handle.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter. https://guitarhunter.dk/product/toroidy-ats300va-stepdown-converter-230-110v/
