Description & Specifications

1957 Fender Vibrolux Amp Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel

We present an original 1957 Fender Vibrolux amp tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.

This amplifier is in great shape and has been fully serviced with high-quality new filter capacitors and resistors. This vintage Fender tweed amp delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The tremolo is bias-based, meaning it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls, and it has a strong, smooth pulse with a rich waveform.

The original Jensen P10R speaker has been reconed. The chassis is clean, and the chrome control plate with the original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact, complemented by a newer handle. A new three-prong power cord has been installed. The original lacquered tweed covering is intact, showing light ambering along with some minor scuffs and wear. Both transformers are original, and it’s stocked with RCA NOS tubes.

The original tube chart is present, very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.

To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
