1959 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst
We present an all original 1959 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This early 1959 Fender Stratocaster is one of the last to feature a 1-ply pickguard and a maple neck—very rare to find! It delivers outstanding tone with plenty of twang and sounds incredible. The beautifully grained ’59 neck profile is exceptionally comfortable, and the original frets are still in great condition. The Single-Line Kluson tuners are well-preserved and function perfectly. The black-bottom pickups are well-balanced and sound fantastic.
Overall, it’s in excellent condition with only minor nicks, dings, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear. Most of the play wear is on the back of the body. No cracks, breaks, or repairs—just a stunningly clean Fender Stratocaster with a vibrant, unfaded Sunburst finish. It even includes the original tremolo arm.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1959.
The pickups and electronics/wiring are untouched and completely intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes complete with its original Fender Hardshell Tweed Case. The latches and handle are in perfect working order.
