1960 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an all original and 100% complete 1960 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, california.
This historical pre-CBS 1960 Fender Jazzmaster even comes complete with its original bridge cover, tremolo arm, strap, matching number hang tag, polish cloth, key for the case and manual. It’s all there and it’s a super clean example.
Cosmetically, this Jazzmaster is in excellent + condition that shows minor cosmetic wear. The original Sunburst finish is perfect with almost no fading at all. It features a great maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard and clay dots. The neck and headstock face are clean including the original One-Line Kluson tuners. The high E-tuner is bend but still in perfect working order.
This is an exceptional example of a 1960 pre-CBS Jazzmaster and it sounds and plays fantastic with the original black bottom pickups. It’s so powerful, resonant and extremely versatile. This is everything you’d expect from a guitar produced in the Fender’s golden age era, and also a true time capsule.
Comes complete with its original Fender brown hardshell case w/yellowinterior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order and like new
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

- Pots dated: 137.6043 – 43th week of 1960. The other pot the date is invisible because of the original soldering.
