We present an all original 1960 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

This historical pre-CBS 1960 Fender Jazzmaster is 100% original throughout even comes complete with its original bridge cover, tremolo arm, strap, matching-number hang tag, polish cloth, case key, and manual. It’s all there, and it’s a super clean example.

Cosmetically, this Jazzmaster is in excellent+ condition and shows only minor cosmetic wear. The original Sunburst finish is perfect, with almost no fading at all. It features a great maple neck with a dark rosewood fingerboard and clay dots. The neck and headstock face are clean, including the original one-line Kluson tuners. The high E tuner is bent but still in perfect working order.

This is an exceptional example of a 1960 pre-CBS Jazzmaster, and it sounds and plays fantastic with the original black-bottom pickups. It’s powerful, resonant, and extremely versatile. This is everything you’d expect from a guitar produced during Fender’s golden age—truly a time capsule.

Comes complete with its original Fender brown hardshell case with yellow interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order and like new.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
