Description & Specifications

1960 Gibson Les Paul Special DC – Cherry

We present an all original 1960 Gibson Les Paul Special DC in Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This guitar is in excellent condition with only minor nicks, dings, and light cosmetic wear. This 1960 Gibson Les Paul Special DC delivers outstanding tone with its original P-90 “soapbar” pickups, which are exceptionally well-balanced. The lightweight mahogany body shows almost no fading — its Cherry finish remains vibrant and bright. The original frets are in perfect condition with plenty of life remaining. The original “2/3 Kluson on the stripe” tuners are intact and function flawlessly. It features a medium-sized one-piece mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, wraparound aluminum tailpiece, four black reflector knobs, and a three-way toggle switch.

It’s 100% original throughout – Just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1960.

The pickups and all electronics remain untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints or rewound pickups. Everything is 100% original and correct.

Comes complete with its original chipboard case. The original latches and handle are also fully intact.
