1962 Fender Champ Amp Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1962 Fender Champ amplifier Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is the smallest of the Fender tweed lineup, but it packs a very big tone. This great Fender amplifier has seen a lot of use, but it runs perfectly. There is significant cosmetic wear, but the cabinet is structurally sound and original. The original Oxford speaker is in great shape and sounds excellent.
This Fender Champ is also equipped with the original transformers. It features a new power cord, new filter capacitors, and some resistors to ensure perfect operation. Otherwise, this tweed amplifier is stocked with NOS tubes. When turned up, the overdrive on this vintage tube amp is sweet and singing, with natural compression and excellent feel. Classic vintage tweed tone in a compact package.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
